Dr. Keane seems a good doctor, however, the office staff aren’t very helpful when it comes to urgent matters. Sylvia won’t even talk to me but passes the buck to everyone else, and they don’t return calls either. I had lumbar facet injections three weeks ago with Dr. Keane. I had the same procedure 7 months prior which was successful. Something went wrong this time and l was experiencing significantly more pain only 15 minutes after the procedure. This occurred at the surgery center and l mentioned it to Dr. Keane at the time, but he dismissed it as nothing to worry about. My gut instinct told me something was wrong. The pain continued to worsen to the point that it has become debilitating! I did speak with Dr. Keane early last week and again he dismissed it and said to contact him again in a few more weeks. In the meantime, he prescribed some lidocaine patches which it turns out l am allergic to as l developed a horrible rash on my back. I called his assistant Lexi yesterday and explained that my pain was increasingly worse. Unfortunately, she too dismissed me explaining that he was too busy to call me this week. She tried to placate me by saying that he might, and that’s a big “might” reach out, but she doubted it. Wow!

As usual, Dr. Keane was caring, taking time to explain both my situation and the time it takes for the chosen remedy, PrP, to take effect. I have great confidence in Dr. Keane.

Dr Keane is a superb doctor. He is very detailed and will always listen to concerns. He is kind and very good at what he does. I would recommend dr Keane without hesitation.

I don’t know how many doctors I have seen in the Bay Area who seem to not really care about you. Seems like you’re just another number and they want to get you in and out quick so they can move on however, Dr Lehnert is completely different. He actually sits down with you and will have a conversation with you about life.. He is super down to earth and tells you exactly how it is, instead of beating around the bush like I’ve experienced with doctors in the past. Also I like that he has a firm hand shake (most doctors in the bay have a soft handshake) he looks you in the eye when he talks with you. Overall Dr Lehnert seems to know his stuff and I highly recommend him.

We recently saw Dr. Lehnert for my 11 year old son, who walks pigeon-toed. From the start, Dr. Lehnert was incredibly kind, patient, and knowledgeable. He made my son feel comfortable and took the time to explain everything in a way that made sense to both of us. We just received the custom orthopedic inserts, and the fitting process was smooth and professional. Even though it’s still early, we’re already feeling hopeful. My son is adjusting well to the inserts, and we’re optimistic that this will really help with his walking over time. The staff was also amazing—friendly and organized. Saw the doctor 45 minutes later than the scheduled time, with little warning from staff. Front desk and intake person were not very welcoming. However, the doctor was patient, personable, and I would recommend. Would be 5 stars if the wait were not so long.

SOAR continues to be the best

Dr Jeffrey Saal is an excellent Physician with years of knowledge and experience that I am grateful for. I have been a patient for 20+ years for my back pain management with only one major surgery and no fusion.

Dr. Saal does not give up. He continues to always try to solve the pain from degenerative discs in my neck. I trust my care in him 100%. He is not afraid to prescribe medications, within reason, to help with the pain. Additionally, he has zero judgement and is always supportive. His referrals to physical therapy have been excellent as well. His joint injections have worked but my type of disc issues unfortunately do not respond long term which is why Dr. Saal has provided alternative solutions for me. I’ve tried second, even third opinions and I keep coming back to Dr. Saal which is where I’ll remain for as long as he keeps me as his patient.

Very personable and knowledgeable!

Dr Keane was very helpful in assisting me with a decision whether to have a hip replacement to remove the pain I had been suffering for several months. He first suggested an MRI of the joint where I was experiencing pain. He then took the time to discuss the results with me. In addition he explained various options for treatment but explained why these would not achieve a permanent pain-free outcome. I was therefore then able to make an educated decision about surgery.

As one who doesn't enjoy most experiences with medical professionals, I have to say this single visit renewed my faith. Fast, direct, and wonderful to work with, I would recommend Dr. Lehnert for any and all foot challenges. All my thumbs up!

Dr. Buntic skillfully managed my expectations for how the injection would feel, and what kind of treatment effects to expect going forward. He did not hype or even try to sell me on the treatment, and made sure that I wanted it. And, the treatment was effective in reducing my symptoms to a level that doesn't bother me at all. I went to Dr Saal for severe back pain from two discs. The injection Dr Saal performed went perfectly. The pain was gone that day and I was on the way to recovery and PT.

Had SPRINT procedure in low back. Results are good so far. I hope it continues to improve. I now have severe pain 8 out of 10 in my right hip extending down to my ankle. Dr. Saal is scheduling a cortisone injection in early July. I'm hoping to get an appointment sooner if at all possible since I can't walk more than a mile without the pain kicking in.

I have been under the care of Dr Saal since 2002. My back and shoulders have experienced severe and complicated issues throughout the years, from riding motorcycles. He has addressed every issue I have, successfully and found the right remedies for all. He maintains contact with me on a monthly basis, due to my chronic issues. I strongly recommend him to address your pain and injuries. Chiropractors cannot repair complicated injuries. In my case, they wouldn’t touch me. Last month I suffered from a herniated disc. Yesterday's appointment with Dr. Keane was to follow up. He reassured me that in most cases these heal up. But given the current level of impact on my mobility, we agreed an epidural steroid injection would be appropriate, so he will perform that next week. This is the second time I've seen Dr. Keene (the first was 2 1/2 years ago, involving spinal stenosis), and in both cases Dr. Keene has provided excellent advice.

Dr. Saal is a brilliant diagnostician with excellent bedside manner. I’ve seen several doctors who misdiagnosed the reason for my nerve pain and Dr. Saal was able to figure it out within minutes. He ordered an MRI for me and told me the complete treatment plan rather than minimizing my pain. Also, as a larger person, I typically get a lecture every time I see a doctor and this was not the case with Dr. Saal. I could not recommend him more highly.

The team in Redwood City Procedure Center were very efficient in checking in, made sure my medical information & insurance was accurate (2 min.). The surgical team was very organized, patient focused, facility was very clean and squared away. The procedure with Dr Bonzon was great. Dr explained each step in the procedure and reduced my level of anxiety to "0". I was Super Happy with the entire process and the procedure began to reduce the level of pain within a day. I’ve known Dr Wall having worked with him nearly 20years ago. He is an excellent physician and surgeon. I dealt with nerve symptoms from a bulging cervical disc and lumbar annular fissure for about 12 years before meeting with Dr. Saal. Multiple epidurals and years of PT with no resolution. I am a year out from cervical and lumbar transformational injections and am SO GRATEFUL for Dr. Saal and team. Nerve symptoms are essentially nonexistent, no more constant neck and low back pain. I’ve been a patient of Dr. Keane’s for many years. As an athlete, I have a lifetime of sports injuries and general wear-and-tear. Dr. Bonzon is amazing! I feel so blessed to have him as my doctor. I saw him yesterday for a Cortizone injection in my shoulder. I hate, absolutely hate needles! Dr. Bonzon is so gentle, explains every little thing he is doing and what you can expect to feel, and I have no problem getting a needle from him. He is a blessing!!

After many years of dealing with a sciatic back condition and a flare up Dr Bonzon was able to diagnose and explain my condition in a way no other doctor had been able to before, down to which disks and which nerves are affected. He knows a few simple movement tests to do and based on the responses he can pinpoint the condition, to prescribe the correct treatment. I was pretty impressed.

I am working with Dr. Bonzon on what is turning out to be a difficult issue, namely thoracic steroidal anti-inflammatory injections related to severe post-herpetic neuralgia at thoracic levels 2, 3 & 4. Dr. Bonzon has consulted with Dr. Gamburd about this, and is now contacting a fellow physiatrist at UCSF for further ideas of a solution. I am so grateful to have found Dr. Bonzon. He truly feels like a partner in the care and progression of a few back issues I've had. After seeing multiple doctors and getting confusing response (many differing opinions with little explanation for course of treatment), I was relieved to first meet Dr. Bonzon. He spent 90 minutes with me, showing me things on my MRI that others had not explained. He could tell from looking at the images exactly where my pain would be and he was right. Up until that point, I had received blank feedback when I described my pain and was seeking to understand if it was indeed related to my back. While my road is long and there is no quick fix, I am grateful to have the compassionate, wise direction of Dr. Bonzon.

Dr Keane has been my main physician for treating my spine, since 1994. He is specifically a Physiatrist. He is the most dedicated, knowledgeable, caring physician I have ever dealt with.
